📢NEWS!📢 Umbrella Entertainment has announced SA made video game PRO JANK FOOTY as the very first title of their new games distribution arm! Powerbomb Games' AFL-inspired comedy game is the brainchild of SA creatives David Ashby and Dario Russo with SA developer Tyler Roach and made its public debut at the SAFC's SA Game Exhibition (SAGE) 2025, where it won Best in Exhibition.

Umbrella is moving into games distribution, kicking off with 'Pro Jank Footy', an AFL-inspired comedy title.

Written and directed by Australian filmmaker Mia’Kate Russell and produced by award-winning South Australian producer Julie Ryan (Late Night With The Devil, Hotel Mumbai), Ari Harrison (Talk To Me), Andre Lima (Mrs McCutcheon) and South Australian producer/line producer Carly Maple (The Fox), Penny Lane is Dead is supported by the SAFC's Screen Production Fund and the AFF Investment Fund, with post production through South Australia’s KOJO Studios. 📢NEWS!📢 Prime Video has announced that new SA made and SAFC supported series Top End Bub is set for release on Friday 12 September! The highly anticipated follow up to the 2019 smash hit film Top End Wedding was co-created by Miranda Tapsell (also starring) and SA's Joshua Tyler.

📢NEWS!📢 SA producer Bettina Hamilton has spearheaded the creation of The Mercury's new Hamilton Health & Safety Fund, a new initiative designed to lift safety and wellbeing standards in SA short film productions. Supported by Black Cat White Rabbit Productions and the Hanlon Larsen Screen Fellowship, the fund will have $8,000 available each year to assist with expenses like safety supervisors, first aid kits and training, intimacy coordinators and access coordinators.
