🌡️ A heatwave is forecast across South Australia this week – now’s the time to prepare.
Heatwaves can impact anyone. Older people, young children, outdoor workers, and people with certain medical conditions are most at risk.
Here are 5 things you can do TODAY to get ready:
1️⃣ Make a plan to check on family, friends and neighbours
2️⃣ Know the signs of heat-related illness, such as dehydration – visit the SA Health website www.sahealth.sa.gov.au
3️⃣ Find a cool place you can go if your home gets too hot, like a shopping centre or library
4️⃣ Set up a ‘cool room’ using fans, curtains and blinds
5️⃣ Plan how you will keep your pets cool and healthy
