Every Sunday we broadcast live from 8am-10pm, either from Oceanic Creative Studios in Thebarton or by popping-up at venues, spaces and events across our community network.

gorge embodies what jess & v’s friendship is. It’s how they nourish themselves through music, how music feels to move through, and what a good song should be - gorge! Taking inspiration from shared tour experiences playing together in Workhorse and the mutual love for folk and country, gorge uncovers common ground between a person, place and feeling.

Welcoming our next Spring Resident, the lovely Conor Mercury! An artist and director from Kaurna Land, Conor makes moving image as beautiful as his music selections.

In 2023 he was awarded ‘Best Music Video’ at the SA Music awards, and in 2024 he was nominated for best music video at SXSW Sydney. In 2024 his work with the Empty Threats was exhibited in Times Square, New York.

Mercury’s style never sits still, and it comes through in Conor's duck! sets. It’s inventive, unexpected and captivating, often weaving soundcloud hyperpop with hip hop bsides with plenty of emo feeling. His work is cheeky and the narratives he weaves catch you off guard, drawing you in until he has hold of you for the duration. Most importantly, CM has a beautiful big heart and a charmingly disarming personality. Send him love on the discord and in the ether as he blesses us with this sunny residency 🌐

An extra sliver of daylight is approaching our Vit D deficient bodies and we are throwing a fundraiser to go alongside it - 18th October 🌞⛓️‍💥🥹✨. Think garage sale meets community fair 🤝🐕 less the rides (unless you know a guy?)

CALL OUT ~~ if you are looking to move through a collection of your clothes, records, art, knickas knackas etc. DM us to organise a stall for a small fee, which will go straight back into supporting our operational costs.
Also interested to hear from anyone who would like to get involved in the event in any way, cooking up, make some posters, stick up said posters around town or any other ideas you may have 💡

This year has been a little challenging for duck! with more than half of our crew away, meaning limited hands on the ground to organise our beloved parties and events/apply for govt grants.
Daylight $aving$ is an opportunity to come check out our new space if you haven’t already, listen to music and support us if it’s within your means. Funds raised will support us during this interim period, as we develop a more sustainable structure for the new year.

Spring is springing and we are very happy to have Hannah join us for our seasonal residency program, with her darling show, Radio Gado-Gado.

A beam of light, lover of music & community radio for many years and very close to our pond indeed. Hannah is an Australian-Indonesian (Minahasa) DJ digging through soul, garage, funk, jazz, dangdut, psychedelic and oddball gems from across the decades. She shares Indonesian sounds across dancefloors, within local communities and her work as a Javanese gamelan musician and educator. Her shows will proudly guide you through a broad diversity of music from the Indonesian archipelago.

As the sun peeps out and the flowers bloom, we welcome Spring Resident R A S H AreaAudio / Stefano Martino with their incredible show Lost in Transition - a sonic transmission from the spaces between worlds.

Producer, audiophile and community beacon, R A S H navigates the deeper territories of electronic music, moving through dub pressure, hypnotic techno, ambient, experimental electronics and fractured rhythms. No stranger to grassroots and community radio on Fade Radio, Fango Radio and Radio alHara راديو الحارة, we are so happy to welcome him to the duckie resident family.

The selection is guided by texture rather than genre — frequencies, repetition, silence and distortion becoming tools for creating a shifting psychological landscape.

From the physical weight of the bass to the more abstract edges of sound, each episode follows a continuous movement between club culture, experimental listening and ritual.

No fixed beginning.
No final destination.
Just sound in transition.

Every second Sunday of Spring 6-8pm ✨️
