In Quechua, one of the Native South American language families, Karu-Karu means "very far away". What a privilege to be a part of this "playground for uncertainty". One of the many things we love about is how they "promote animation as an art-form but also as a medium to raise awareness for societal issues".

With 'Wishes' we are trying to create the world we'd like to live in; encouraging and empowering children to take change into their own hands, through empathy.

It's a way of sharing the side of our Colombianness that's not found in the mainstream news; one of human connection, profound thought, deep emotions, colourful language, resilience and hope.

It's an ode to our origin and an offer to our hereafter. 💜💚🐦

Our przyjaciele (Friends) at Festiwal Kinolub are doing something beautiful in Poland: bringing films to children of 14 cities who otherwise wouldn't have much access to cinema. How amazing to know that 'Wishes' is travelling with them. 💜💚🐦

It’s heart-warming to be in the official selection of VAFI & RAFI, Croatia’s international animation festival devoted entirely to children and youth.

This means a lot to us — VAFI & RAFI is a member of the European Children’s Film Association, and one of their awards is even backed by UNICEF to help promote children’s rights. 💫
