This includes our beloved 'Wishes', now that its pilot has had such a fantastic festival journey -which started with Pitches here in Annecy, two years ago as a work-in-progress. 💜💚🐦

From South Australia to the 'U.S. Creative Capital', Providence, Rhode Island!⚓️✨

🎬 Being in the official selection of the Providence Children's Film Festival means a lot to us: it's one of the top four children’s film festivals in North America, has a beautifully inclusive atmosphere, and the official selection is made with the help of a youth jury! They even offer a "Pay What You Can" model to ensure everyone has access!! 💜💚🐦

What a lovely opportunity to screen our pilot in a city built on the principle of tolerance. We've also heard that the city has one of the highest ranks of artists per capita in the country (as well as coffee & doughnut shops) :)

🏆 What a huge honour to see 'Wishes' win 'Best Film' and 'Best Sound Design' at the Fleurieu Film Festival, having also been nominated for 'Best Director', 'Best Script' and 'Best Editing'! 💜💚🐦

An incredibly beautiful, surreal and magical, community-focused celebration surrounded by nature.

This festival is also very special to us because our pilot was heavily inspired by elements found throughout Kaurna, Ngarrindjeri and Peramangk lands (across the Fleurieu Peninsula and the Adelaide region): From the McLaren Vale vineyards to the Adelaide Hills and the Town Hall.

Superb fairy wrens, crested pigeons and even the sounds of banjo frogs and the signature pedestrian crossings make appearances in our pilot. See if you can spot the banksias, yaccas, billy buttons and native grasses.

Kino's voice was even partially designed using micro-edits of the types of fur seals found along the coast (recorded by ).

Speaking of sounds, a very special shoutout to our incredibly Foley team , and our dialogue recordist .

We're incredibly grateful to share that 'Wishes' has hit a major milestone in both, the animation and academic/research worlds! 🚀

Our pilot has officially been recognised as a peer-reviewed creative work and juried exhibition at Oscar®-qualifying, SIGGRAPH Asia 2025 (one of the leading international festivals for computer animation), hosted by the Association for Computing Machinery , the international peak research body in the field! 🤓

The organiser's feedback was especially rewarding, sharing that the work was "vetted by a committee of experts for both technical and aesthetic innovation."

It's amazing to reflect on how the wonderful humans in our team, so easily jump between the creative and the technical.💜💚🐦
