The new 6 seat TANK 700 has surfaced in China, measuring a whopping 5.4 metres long and weighing around 3.4 tonnes.

Under the bonnet, there’s a choice of a 2.0L turbo Hi4-Z PHEV, with the petrol engine producing 185kW and 385Nm, or a 3.0L twin turbo V6 PHEV producing 265kW (355hp).

The 2.0T Hi4-Z also packs a 59.05kWh battery with up to 190km electric range.

We've now completely disabled,

Lane keeping assist
Lane keeping warnings
Driver monitoring camera
In car vital signs monitor

And, yes, this is suitable for the entire range of the Tank 300, Tank 500, Cannon Alpha....

We're now able to completely disable the TPMS (tyre pressure monitoring system) on the Tank 300, Tank 500, Cannon Alpha!

Also added key proximity locking/unlocking for those models 👀

We’ve unlocked the factory off road app on the Cannon Alpha

No physical mods.
No jailbreaking.
No aftermarket code.

This was all done through GWM’s own coding system, using their software, using their own system.

And yes, we’ll be offering this upgrade to customers.

It’s not ready just yet, so hold tight.

Sometimes... just sometimes... GWM Australia makes our heads hurt.

Why on earth are there two completely different service intervals for the exact same HYCET 9-speed transmission behind the same 2.4L diesel engine?

-Cannon & Tank 300 2.4L 9-Speed
Transmission serviced every 150,000 km or 72 months

-Cannon Alpha 2.4L 9-Speed
First transmission service at 35,000 km
Then every 40,000 km or 48 months

Same transmission.
Same engine.
Completely different servicing schedule.
That's almost 4 transmission services on the Alpha in the same kms as the Cannon and Tank 300..... anyway, rant over.

Can anyone explain the logic behind that one?
