CASTING - AMERICAN ACCENTS - Unpaid

We are looking for 4 voice actors (any gender) to play off-screen American casting agents for a ‘casting montage’ in a comedy short film.

Also: a young woman to play a ‘camera assistant’, whose hand will appear with a clapper for several shots, and may be required to slate with an American accent.

Please send us a sample voice recording or self tape featuring your voice/accent to [email protected]

As there is not a lot of dialogue in the scene, please send us an excerpt featuring your accent, choose a short monologue from a film, or simply state your name, age and that you “are applying to be an American casting agent for a short film” to give us an idea of your accent.

In addition to these characters, we require a man to provide the voice of a ‘Western Theme Park Manager’, ideally with a convincing Texan Accent (We can supply a sample script for this part if you wish to audition for this, please email us with a request and we will arrange).

Shoot/recording dates TBA, aiming for a weekend date in November.

Men and women of any age for a 1970's "acting class" scene.

The night of Saturday September 28th

5:00pm-12am

ROXY CENTRE, corner of South Rd and Anzac Hwy.

The scene is set in the 1970’s so we can’t have too many modern hairstyles. Any appropriate costuming you can bring would also be greatly appreciated.

We are looking for approximately 10 extras for this scene, but there will be more opportunities for this project in the coming months.

EXTRAS CALL: Proof-of-concept trailer, seeking men and women aged 20 to 30 for shoot on Saturday 28th September.

Requirements: a conservative 1960's look
MEN must be clean shaven with short hair (not shaved)
Must own a suit, ideally grey or charcoal.
WOMEN who own a conservative 'business' dress that can pass roughly for 1960's style. Grey, white, black combos or muted tones preferred.

Must be available on Saturday 28th, morning to early afternoon. Extras roles unpaid.
