IF YOU ARE AN ABORIGINAL AND/OR TORRES STRAIT ISLANDER FATHER OF A CHILD UNDER 2 YEARS OLD OR AN EXPECTANT FATHER AND WANT TO BE A PART OF A DEADLY YARNING CIRCLE FOR DADS, THEN THIS IS FOR YOU!!!

SCAN THE QR CODE ON FLYER TO FILL OUT THE FORM TO GIVE CONSENT TO CONTACT!

These yarning circles are for a strength based project called "Keeping Dads Strong For Family" through SAHMRI. These are yarns about what keeps fathers strong and what would help keep them strong through this period of fatherhood.

Eligibility:
- Must be of Aboriginal and/or Torrs Strait Islander descent.
- Must be an expectant father or a father of a child under 24 months or 2 years of age.
- Must be able to give written consent.

Transport is provided, Moning Tea and Lunch provided and you will recieve a gift card for your contributions to the yarning circle.

There is a QR code that possible participants can scan and fill out the Consent to Contact form. Once they fill that out and submit, that gives us permission to make contact and check eligibility and give information on the projetc and yarning circles and get them registered for one of the circles.

Each yarning circle will be 4 hours long and we will try to have at least 3 facilitators and a support person (Counsellor).

Yarning circle dates and times:

Northern Suburbs Yarning circle
Location: Flinders Wellbeing Centre at 28 Ann Street, Salisbury SA 5108
Date: 22nd October 2025
Times: 9am to 1:30pm
