Happy Pride Month! The month of June is a time to remember that pride was first and foremost a protest. It's also a time to celebrate our community.
At Buon-Cattivi Press we're proud to be q***r owned and operated and feel privileged to publish such a variety of talented, local q***r voices. We've put together some highlights along with a teaser for the first of our two books releasing in 2026.

Kris and Jade have curated an impressive stock of Australian independent books and host regular author visits. It's a welcoming space to drop in to say hi to the team and their chihuahua Primrose.

Call for submissions.
We are open to submissions for a couple of special projects that will be released in 2028 to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of Buon-Cattivi Press.
One is the second edition of Peering Through: Sharing Decades of Q***r Experiences.
The second is the Q***r Australian Cookery Book, a charity cookbook to be filled with recipes and their associated memories.
