Every child deserves a way to be understood.

AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) supports children in understanding language (receptive skills) and expressing their thoughts (expressive skills).

By pairing spoken words with AAC symbols, children learn to connect what they hear with what they see — building strong language foundations and confident communication over time. 💬💚

Many studies suggest that all people living with dementia experience communication difficulties! Which means they should always have access to AAC or other communication supports. 🤝

AAC isn’t just an app — it’s a lifeline. 🚨
It empowers people with dementia to express their feelings, communicate their needs, stay connected with loved ones, and maintain dignity when words don’t come easily.

When you give someone AAC, you’re showing them that their thoughts, words, and voice matter — that their mind will always matter. 🧠💬

If you have a loved one with dementia or a communication disorder and think AAC might help, reach out to us today.

Verbal communication may be a privilege — but communication is a right.

When we give someone an AAC device, we are not just giving them technology — we are giving them a voice.

AAC empowers people to express what they think, feel, and want to say because everyone deserves to be heard.

Communication inequality happens when someone’s ability to express, understand, or be understood is limited — not by their ability, but by the world around them.

When people don’t have access to AAC, or when environments aren’t communication-friendly, barriers create disconnection and exclusion.

But these barriers are preventable. Together, we can create communication inclusion but making communication supports accessible to those that need them 💬

⚽Another Fun Saturday at our Inclusive Soccer Club!⚽️

Today was all about teamwork, connection, and communication on and off the field! Our players practiced their footwork, passes, and goal celebrations!

We had 3 therapists and 3 soccer coaches supporting our players today — ensuring every child was included, encouraged, and celebrated. For our non-verbal participants, we used AAC tools to promote communication, participation, and inclusion throughout the sessions. 💬⚽

A huge thank you to our new helpers for providing one-on-one support and helping make today’s session fun for all!
