Anyone who's ever done a radio school course knows how close every team gets. We share deep thoughts and very honest stories and opinions because that's the core of radio which we love.
But it's the support and camaraderie of all the students that I've treasured more than anything else with over the last 15 years.
We all share the joy of everyone's success as heavily as we all feel the pain of a loss.
Two weeks ago we lost a great friend and talent, Aaron Morris.
It's been a very raw and emotional time for Aaron's family and friends. Hi wife Jo has been so kind, warm and generous to me and all of his classmates from the August Intro course.
It's been a heartbreaking time for these incredible people.
Over the last couple of weeks we've shared privately so many many beautiful memories of Aaron, from his passion for VoiceOvers and the home studio that he had just built, to his love for Jo and his sons, to his quirky habit of buying three of the exact same article of clothing when he saw something he liked on sale in Harbourtown.đĽš
If you studied with Aaron and would like to share a memory or pay tribute, please feel comfortable with sharing it on this post.
Rest in Peace kind Aaron. You'll never be forgotten.
