The Neighbourhood Watch Meeting 😄🦘

Went up the hill this morning after the rain and found the whole mob lined up on the ridge. Mist still sitting in the valley below, everything so green and covered in little wildflowers.

They all just stopped and stared at me like I was late for the meeting. Classic Adelaide Hills spring morning.

7:30am fog, white blossoms, and green everywhere. The Hills were showing off today.

Early August at First Falls, Morialta. Caught it right after the winter rains and it was absolutely thundering.

Easy to forget this is just 15 minutes from the city. Morialta never disappoints in winter.

Mount Lofty wasn't playing. pure wild. 🌲

Wind howling through the gums, fog rolling in so fast you couldn't see 10m ahead. One minute up, one minute down - crazy how fast it turns up there.

Woke up early to catch the mist on Gorge Road, Adelaide Hills. Cold air, soft light, the river barely moving — worth every minute of that early drive.

There's a special kind of peace you only get in the Hills on a foggy morning. No rush, just green, mist, and quiet.

So grateful to have this in our backyard.

There's something special about Cleland when the fog rolls in.

I took these on a misty morning walk in Cleland National Park - the eucalypts were dripping, the trail was quiet, and the whole forest felt like it was holding its breath. The light filtering through the mist was just magical.

One of those mornings that reminds you why we are so lucky to have this on our doorstep here in the Adelaide Hills.

Waterfall Gully and Morialta Falls after the rain - absolutely magic. 🌿

No long road trip needed, this is right in our backyard.

7am on the Waterfall Gully to Mt Lofty climb and you can already feel the change. The cockies were already at breakfast in the wattle, sun was out, and the views were free as always.

Love this time of year in the Hills.
