How many times must it be said and how much research needs to be had before we (society as whole) get serious with the facts that taking libraries and librarians out of schools, replacing books with screens, and overall de-valuing the ART of reading for relaxation and pleasure is directly contributing to plummeting literacy rates, critical thinking, thinking stamina, and other areas of intelligence?
