Repost • Dial'Afreeq

Butt Dial (Aug 20th from 8pm) is a night of unrelenting grooves, body-pumping rhythms, and deep baselines. We’re blending the soulful, syncopated warmth of funk with the driving, hypnotic energy of house and tech house. Expect seamless transitions, unexpected funk flips, and every chance that your phone might just ‘accidentally’ call that person you’ve been meaning to catch up with.

Thrilled to be spinnin’ at this one 😍🎶

Warm up your winter at Market Street Live, taking over the Market District on Friday 12 June. Start with a wander through the Central Markets for a bite or browse, then head to Market Street as the evening unfolds.

As dusk falls, the street comes alive with live music, DJs and roaming fire performances. DJ Ruby Chew brings her signature high-energy sound to the decks, while a live jazz trio delivers a soulful soundtrack throughout the night. The Dragon Mill Fire Twirlers weave through the crowd, lighting up the street with bursts of flame and sparkle.

Flavours of the Street will be in full swing, with Lot 10 Cucina, Market Street Cafe, Southern Noodle Bar and Simon Taste Chinese BBQ all open and serving.

In the laneways, a pop-up gallery will showcase contemporary works by Adelaide artist Frank Grauso. Inspired by everyday observations and news imagery, Grauso’s works transform recognisable subjects through layering and distortion, dissolving into abstraction while retaining an emotional connection to their source.

For rooftop views, Merrymaker Rooftop Bar on level 16 of Hotel Indigo Adelaide Markets will host vocalists and DJs Lesley Williams and Alex Hosking.

Market Street Live brings together music, food, art and community for a winter night that feels warm, lively and distinctly local.
