Od ponad 20 lat Sam i Gina Rosenberg z ogromną pasją tworzą wyjątkową kolekcję oryginalnych plakatów. Znajdują się w niej plakaty do kultowych filmów, spektakli teatralnych, koncertów i festiwali muzycznych, kampanii turystycznych, pełnych fantazji plakatów cyrkowych, wydarzeń sportowych, kampanii społecznych oraz plakatów propagandowych.

Since April, hundreds of visitors have come to Galeria Grafika to discover the fascinating history, distinctive character, and extraordinary creativity of the Polish School of Posters. PLAKAT presents an outstanding collection from one of the world's most celebrated and influential movements in graphic art.

For more than 20 years, Sam and Gina Rosenberg have passionately built an exceptional collection of original posters, including iconic film posters, theatre productions, concerts and music festivals, tourism campaigns, imaginative circus posters, sporting events, public awareness campaigns, and political propaganda.

You might not have known this but there is currently an exhibition of Polish Art being showcased in the East End of Adelaide. I’ll tell you all about PLAKAT (Polish for Poster) Exhibition at Galeria Grafika, featuring a spectacular, rare collection of mid-century original graphic art from the legendary Polish School of Posters

I’ll also provide you the details of the exclusive screening of the award-winning documentary "Znaki Pana Śliwki / Signs of Mr. Plum". The film explores the remarkable life and work of internationally acclaimed Polish graphic designer and poster artist Karol Śliwka. Presented in conjunction with the PLAKAT exhibition, “Znaki Pana Śliwki / Signs of Mr. Plum” will screen for one night only on Thursday 23rd July at Palace Nova Cinemas.

Unsound Adelaide, presented as part of Illuminate Adelaide, is coming up very soon, that is on Friday and Saturday 10th-11th July. Featuring not one but two Polish artists, hania rani and 2K88 (1988), tune in to hear more about their upcoming performances.

And with the Wimbledon tennis tournament commencing tonight, I’ll present Poland’s presence with six singles players in the main draw led by Iga Świątek.

Yesterday, Poles marked the 235th anniversary of the adoption of the 3rd May Constitution. I’ll share the history of this event and its significance on Poland’s National Identity.

Saturday 2nd May was also a day of celebration for Poles all around the world, for it was not only Polish National Flag Day, but also the Day of the Polish Diaspora and Poles Abroad. I’ll talk about the significance of those as well as mention how they were celebrated.

Eurovision Song Contest is just around the corner, so I'll present Poland's entry.
