Applications are now open for Next Wave 2026!

What’s Next Wave you ask?! A 10-month program with 2 streams: an artist development stream and a film & image production stream!

During 2026, 10 emerging artists and 10 emerging photographers/filmmakers aged 16+ will receive mentorship and training, collaborating on music releases, live sets, video clips, live shoots and portraits. The program will culminate in a performance opportunity and showcase of the creative works.

JINGLE JAMS is fast approaching and we are excited to introduce our first band to sleigh the stage…
❄️FROSTBITTEN FINGERTIPS❄️adl are a 4-piece band making all things post-hardcore and alternative. They met right here at NSS and knew they could make something special together. Come along and watch them light up the launchpad with their electrifying energy and stage presence!!!

We have been working behind the scenes to bring the Christmas Spirit to the Northern Pole, with some very fun goodies for all to enjoy in our free lucky dip 🎁

DID YOU KNOW Expressions of Interest are only open for one more week to perform on The Academy Stage at WOMADelaide 2026!

Eligible applicants will be artists/groups aged between 18-30, with at least 50% of the group’s members currently residing in SA and be able to perform a 30-minute set of original music.

Applications are encouraged from artists of all genres and backgrounds who are keen to bring their creative energy to The Academy Stage at WOMADelaide!
