📣 Great news for Australians looking to enter the property market. The government has announced that come October 1, the Home Guarantee Scheme will have no caps on the number of places or on income eligibility.
This means more people than ever will be able to take advantage of the scheme, which helps eligible buyers purchase a home with a small deposit without having to pay Lenders Mortgage Insurance (LMI).
The government is also increasing the property price caps, to $900,000 in metro Adelaide and $500,000 regionally.
If you are an eligible first-home buyer, long term renter, or a single parent, this could be your chance to get on the property ladder sooner.
