In the lead to this week's huge NRL Grand Final between the Brisbane Broncos and Melbourne Storm, I had the absolute privilege of chatting recently with rugby league legend Wally Lewis on Legends with Bevo!

We covered some really important topics, including how he’s going with his battle with CTE and whether more needs to be done to protect today’s players after their careers.

Wally also shared his thoughts on the season of his beloved Brisbane Broncos, what it meant to represent Queensland in State of Origin and his country, and even opened up about his wedding earlier this year. 💍

And of course, we found out why he’s not the biggest fan of being called “The King” 👑

Bloody ni***es and all I managed to finish my first ever half marathon today at the 2025 at the ripe age of 45. Wish I’d started at a younger age but you’re never too old to do your first as they say.

Maybe next year I’ll crack my first full marathon but we’ll see!

Well done to all the organisers for putting on a great event and a huge thank you to all the volunteers giving out water in the pouring rain.

Honoured to be a guest speaker this week at the Adelaide Networking Events group and talk about taking the plunge from giving up a permanent job in state government to pursue a career in media!

🚨 New Episode of Legends with Bevo! 🚨

What a treat having Aussie swimming superstar Kyle Chalmers on the show! 🏊‍♂️✨

We covered it all – from a whirlwind 12 months where he got engaged 💍 and is about to become a dad for the first time 👶, to loving life up in the beautiful Adelaide Hills 🌿.

Kyle opened up about what life looks like after swimming, going so close to gold in the 100m Freestyle at the recent World Championships in Singapore 🥈, and of course his love for KFC 🍗 (including sampling it in different countries around the world 😂).

We also chatted about the incredible achievement of being part of the Men’s 4x100m Freestyle relay team that defied the odds to bring home GOLD 🥇 for Australia.

This one’s full of laughs, inspiration and some classic Kyle stories – don’t miss it! 🎙️🔥
