It's Hay at his most hopeful. “Many of the songs deal with navigating grief and difficult times,” he shares, “but there is always a positive outlook within them. I guess in a way, they’re reminders to myself that while times get tough, things will be ok.”

One of my favourite things about running Hobble is it wasn’t built on a “sound”, or a set of rules… or goals. It’s a creative outlet. It’s essentially an art-project with a business exterior. United by ethos. Even from day one, continuously trying different things and not content with staying still. So opportunities can be taken with gusto. “limbs may fall” debut perfectly captures this. 9 songs across not even 6 minutes, from a band that’s never played a show… yet. From friends who over 10 years ago started working alongside the label. Half the pressing is gone. Don’t snooze ❤️
