It is with much sadness we hear of the passing of Gawler Central stalwart and the man the Barossa Light & Gawler Football Association Senior Colts Grand Final "Best on Ground" medal is named after, Dean Tobitt's passing.
A passion Tiger, who was a long time servant at Gawler Central Dean tenure goes back to the 1970s.
He was coach of the great Gawler Central senior colts premiership side that included a couple of my old Bulldogs underage team mates, the late Stephen Connelly and Rick Stansborough.
RIP - Dean - a great, humble and no fuss servant of country footy!
