A little update from me, Stace, the owner and artist behind In a Glance!

As my little photography business continues to grow, there are a few changes I need to make behind the scenes to help protect my time, my work and my business.

From this day going forward, a deposit will be required on the day of booking to secure your session and chosen date.

The deposit won’t be a huge amount and will come off the total but it’s a step I now need to take to ensure bookings are properly secured.

I’ve had a few situations where dates have been held for people without the booking being officially confirmed and being completely ghosted when trying to get that confirmation, and unfortunately, I can’t continue to hold dates without a commitment.

I completely understand that life is happens, plans change and things can come up, this isn’t about making the booking process difficult or putting anyone under pressure. It’s simply about having a clear and fair process in place that protects both you as my client and me as a small business owner.

I’m incredibly grateful for every single person who chooses In a Glance to capture their memories. Being trusted with these special moments is something I’ll never take for granted.

I hope you can understand why this small change is necessary as I continue to grow and do what I love.

Thank you, always, for supporting my little business, trusting me with your moments and allowing me to keep creating.

Just a little reminder that I can see when a reminder or confirmation message I’ve sent has been viewed, yes, I really can, even if you think I can’t 😏

If you’ve received one of these messages, it’s simply common courtesy to acknowledge it and respond once you’ve seen it, particularly when I’m holding a date specifically for you.

These dates can easily be filled with other people wanting a photoshoot, so when messages are repeatedly ignored or left without a response, it can put future bookings at risk.

Please be aware that consistently ignoring reminders or confirmations may result in you being blacklisted.

This means that if you try to book with me in the future, I may choose not to respond or accept your booking.
