In the late 1960s, Sixto Diaz Rodriguez released “Cold Fact” and “Coming From Reality”, albums which were filled with gritty, poetic lyrics and folk-rock grooves.

ROCK MOVES with Julie Reynolds

TUES & THURS 2PM

This Week:
We catch up with Pete Murray as he head’s into the final week of his massive solo acoustic tour.

We chat about those sliding-door moments that changed his life, the 14th anniversary of Blue Sky Blue, and a brand new chapter with his new single Amy and the upcoming album Longing.

Pete has that rare gift of making a whole room feel like they’re sitting around the fire with him, guitar in hand, and that’s exactly the vibe of this conversation.

Longing is out October 3

MON 2:00PM‬ & FRI 10:30PM

This week:
Cherie Currie was just 15 when she stepped onto the stage as the blonde, corset-wearing lead singer of The Runaways, one of the most groundbreaking all-girl rock bands of the 1970s.

Their raw sound and rebellious energy produced the anthemic hit “Cherry Bomb”, which made Currie the wild girl poster child of teenage rock rebellion.

Cherie Currie remains a rock pioneer, celebrated for her fearless style, powerful voice, and the barriers she helped break for women in rock ’n’ roll.
