Jarvis Papillo (They/Them/He/Him) is a multidisciplinary q***r artist living and working on Kaurna Land (Adelaide, SA). His drag persona Kalopsia explores their diversity of gender expression as a non-binary trans individual, having performed for events and festivals including Feast Festival and Adelaide Fringe. They are also involved within the music and theatre scene as a sound technician, having teched for venues such as Ancient World, Arthur and Broadcast bar.

Introducing our limited release, pre-order t-shirt design; Gorillas In The Mix!

The first appearance of this design was backdated to March 2000 and was designed by local illustrator, Greg Holfeld (.holfeld.pictures).

This iconic cartoonish design features a gorilla holding the legendary 3-prong beater—an emblem of Three D Radio’s early logo.

After surveying and conversations with our announcers and audience, it was decided that the Gorillas In The Mix design was to be reprinted.

Each tee will be hand screen printed by locals, PRETTY NICE PRINTING who have worked with a range of SA’s finest bands and organisations.

And this is for a limited time only!

Tees are $35 each. Ranging from sizes Small to 3XL.

Sound artist, composer and head of Naarm/Melbourne’s Nice Music Label, Karis’ work is a varied, visceral and romantic meshing of smashed synthesis, concrète sounds, techno/dance-oriented forms and wrenching melodic patterns. He has released collaborative recordings with Actress (UK), Isobel D’Cruz (Hantu, Mod Con) and released his latest full length, the thunderous epic ‘So Little Sorrow’in November 2024. Karis has two collaborative recordings with Mark Groves (Absurd Cosmos Late Nite, Index Clean forthcoming in 2025.
