15 years of video, but first, how it started….I’ve always been a creative person. Video for me started with our home video camera, that I quickly claimed as my own. The first video that I edited was done using 2 VCR players with lots of pause, record, pause etc…somehow I managed to include a soundtrack as well! When video became more than a hobby, I started shooting by borrowing cameras from friends or hiring. I needed my own gear. My beautiful Dad, who has passed away, was so supportive of me and everything that I did. He said he would match me dollar-for-dollar if I saved up for my own camera. So I saved and saved and eventually bought my first proper camera, the Sony EX1. This faithful old thing did me many years of service until my next upgrade. Next post I’ll share the projects I was doing back in 2010 and how the business got off the ground. Big love to my Daddy, I wouldn’t be where I am today without him.

15 years in business! I love business and I love video, so it’s a good combo. Big thanks to the team, for coming on the wild ride with me, and of course the people we’ve worked with who have let us be a part of their business while we create stories and important messages. It’s amazing the twists and turns a business can take you on, and how new surprising things can happen at any time, that spring you into the next level. I wonder what’s next? Love Han ❤️

Shooting for coming together as a team with and Tash was golden ✨ so happy with what we captured and watching ideas come to life was so fun! 🤩 Using our creative muscles to work with colours, outfits and props that were on hand and quickly coming up with ideas on the spot, had the magic flowing all day… that’s the gold, when it all falls into place perfectly ❤️

Personal Update from Han

I can be a private person at times, especially on social media. But thought I would give an update on a more personal level.

It’s been a tough year.
My lovely Mum passed away in January.
She was sick for only 8 weeks and then she was gone.

I still needed my Mum regularly- she was such a support to me and my family.

Rooftop has ticked along, but hasn’t gotten a lot of attention.

Losing my Mum, someone who always supported me unconditionally and encouraged me to chase my dreams- someone who was always invested in other people’s lives and interests; has helped me to take stock of my own life and help me get back to what I love: telling people’s stories.

Thank you to my clients who have stuck by me and continued to work with me. You may see a little more of me now that I am coming up for air.

I’m looking forward to the exciting projects we have booked this year and working on a new product that I have had tucked away for a while that I can now give more time to.

A big couple of days in Shepparton shooting with and the Trucking Industry Council. We are doing a series of videos showing how the safety systems in trucks work. Always fun working with Jason and the team and getting to play with big trucks!
