The Synology NAS's are great systems for small businesses and creators because:
- they have redundancy (not a backup)
- can automatically do backups to other Synology servers, Google Drive or Drop Box
- can have multiple people working on the same files at once
- are upgradable
- offer better price per gigabyte compared to portable hard drives
- can be accessed from anywhere in the world

We have used a couple of servers ourselves at The Media Joint for many years and are an integral part of our media production business and workflow.
