🎉 Celebrating 20 years of Clayton Paech at Imparja Television. 🎉

Across two decades, Clayton Paech, an Arabana and Gurindji man - has played a critical role in keeping Imparja connected, on air and serving communities across our vast broadcast footprint.

With deep expertise in RF systems, broadcast infrastructure and field service operations, Clayton helps guide the strategic direction and operational integrity of Imparja’s transmission network across 28 sites.

His work has taken him across remote and regional Australia, providing vital technical support not only to Imparja, but also to Remote Indigenous Media broadcasters and the communities they serve.

Broadcast transmission is often the work people do not see, but it is the backbone of what we do. Clayton’s knowledge, commitment and incredible leadership have helped keep that backbone strong for 20 years.

All that, and he's a top bloke, too. 👍

Congratulations Clayton, and thank you for your incredible contribution to Imparja Television.

Taking on Tatts Finke Desert Race is one thing. Attempting the Double is another level entirely.

This year, Dani Foot set herself one of the toughest challenges in Australian motorsport: racing both bike and car across the red dirt of the Finke Desert Race.

A proven Finke competitor, Dani has been part of the event since 2016, when she became the youngest female rider to compete in and complete the race. Since then, she has built a reputation as one of the strongest women in the field, consistently pushing for the podium and showing the kind of grit Finke demands.

In 2026, Finke threw plenty at Dani and her team. A strong P3 finish in the women’s bike class was a huge achievement, but mechanical issues in the car meant the Double was ultimately out of reach.

Even so, the attempt says everything about Dani’s courage, preparation and love for this race.

A massive effort from Dani and the team, and another unforgettable chapter written in the red dirt. Congratulations Dani!

Winners are grinners at 🏁

Travis Robinson and Paul Currie go back-to-back, while David Walsh claims his sixth King of the Desert title on the bikes.

Another massive chapter written in the red dirt.

The bikes are away at 🏁

Plenty of focus, nerves and horsepower at the start line as riders launched into the red dirt, with previous winners Cory Hammond and David Walsh among the field.

Finke fever is well and truly in the air across the Central Deserts, Northern Territory.

Great to see the community out and about, soaking up the atmosphere and celebrating one of the biggest weeks on the Red Centre calendar.

Proud to share this special moment from Gap Youth Centre, Farewell Day.

Gap Youth Centre is based in Alice Springs/Mparntwe - The day brought local community together to say goodbye to the original GYC building, share memories, look through old photos and reflect on the stories held within those walls.

For nearly 50 years, Gap Youth Centre has been an important place for young people, families and community locally. Imparja is proud to be working with GYC to help capture this history and celebrate the next chapter.
