You might have seen and heard these ads on TV, radio or social media recently... the No Smoke, No Worries campaign was Ghost Gum Media's first big production project! 🎉
With 4 different language versions (English, Western Aranda, Yankunytjatjara, and Luritja), we were a proudly 100% local Aboriginal production team across pre-production concept development, camera, audio, director, composer and singer of the original track, lead actors, community consultants, translators and post production editing and design.
More than 40 people were involved across the project, with the majority living in the communities we filmed - Ntaria, Mparntwe, Titjikala and Papunya - to make sure the campaign's messaging and story reflected community faces, languages and places.
Opportunities like this that are given to grounded, Aboriginal-led and community-focused enterprises mean stronger engagement, genuine representation and real connections that provide employment, training and skills development to Aboriginal people in our local communities. 💪🏾🙏🏾
