Day 3 in Noosa and we discovered the Hop on Hop off ferry for $28 pp

The views were unreal so we went on it about 6 times, even went on it at sunset so felt like we were going on a sunset cruise around Noosa

Second week of travels ✈️

It’s been a week of ups and downs for sure this week which is super normal for travel life

We went to the Bundaberg Distillery and had a tour around to see how they make their rum, even got a couple of samples 👀
Had our first camp fire- granted it was to try and get rid of the midges that were eating us alive but it was still really nice
Walked along many beautiful beaches and drove down some stunning scenic roads

Oh and almost forgot to mention… our car broke down 🙃🥲
It is currently at the mechanics getting fixed (hopefully) so we have had to buy a $13 K mart tent for now which actually isn’t too bad 😂😂

We stayed at the Ivory Palms Resort, we booked through and had the bestttttt time!

We are here for a few days so like this video and follow us to see what two Brits get up to in Noosa, Australia 🇦🇺

It’s time for us to say Goodbye to The Bunya Mountains and Hello to our next adventure ✈️ ☀️

As our third and final Australia WHV comes to an end, we are saying goodbye to some amazing people we met and worked with here up in the Bunya Mountains ⛰️

We have had the most amazing 3 years here in Australia, some lows but a loooot of highs and unforgettable memories and friends made over the years! Australia, you have been so good to us and you will forever hold a special place in our hearts ♥️

Now… let’s hit the road 🛣️

✨ 6 more of the most unreal experiences we’ve had ✨

Hiking Mt Batur in Bali- this was shortly before it got closed off to tourists! We left super early in the morning and it was 100% worth it!!!!

Diving in Nusa Lembongan- this dive was such a memorable one and one of the best ones yet. We saw a Mola Mola which was such a surreal experience! Would go to this island JUST to dive again!!

Road trippin’ the Great Ocean Road- our first proper travel experience in Aus, some great photo moments along the way and beautiful views.

Pig Island, Thailand- very odd day but one to remember for sure! They were all super cute and it was a great little island to relax on.

Cooking class in Chiang Mai- we made so many amazing dishes and the setting was beautiful!!!!

And lastly…

Sydney in general was just amazing but more specifically, seeing the Sydney Opera House for the first time… INCREDIBLE 😍

✨where to eat in Noosa- tried & tested

The Depot- great breakfast spot!

El Capitano- amazing pizzas (can get pretty busy though)

VinCino- another great breakfast/brunch spot! The avo & halloumi toast was incredible.

4 pines pub- nice to grab a drink and they have events in the evenings like bingo etc so pretty fun

The Boathouse- expensive but nice just for drinks (food took ages and wasn’t amazing for the price)

Chip ‘N’ Mix - incredibleeee, loved this place and will defo be back in April!

LET US RE-INTRODUCE OURSELVES! 😂

So we made this page a few years ago now, purely as a way to document our backpacking adventure around Southeast Asia so our friends and family could follow along.

What was meant to be an 8 month trip around Japan and SEA has turned into a 4 year journey living and working in Australia while seeing as much of the country as we can!

We haven’t posted regularly while working in Australia however as our visa is coming to an end, our next adventure begins! So we are going to be posting a lot more frequently and showcasing our travels around Fiji 🇫🇯, New Zealand 🇳🇿, Vietnam 🇻🇳, Cambodia 🇰🇭, Japan 🇯🇵, South Korea 🇰🇷, Taiwan 🇹🇼, China 🇨🇳 and Mongolia 🇲🇳

So we thought we should reintroduce ourselves as it’s not just our family and friends following anymore 😬

We are Kayla and Gage, two Brits in our 30s who decided in our late 20s that we wanted to see as much of the world as possible. During Covid we decided we wanted a change, so we used what we intended as a house deposit to instead book a one-way flight to Japan with the plan to travel SEA as long as our budget allowed!

That was in November, 2022 😂 we’ve seen so many amazing cultures, amazing countries and we wouldn’t change a thing!!

If you have any questions about the countries we’ve visited, or recommendations about the countries we’re planning to visit, please comment below! 👇

Thank you for following us!!

🙏 🥰

We stayed at the Rhapsody Resort hotel throughout Schoolies for $200 per night and here’s how it went… 🫣😬

This was actually one of the nicest hotels we’re stayed at in Australia, just look at that view!!!!!!

We were a little nervous that it was Schoolies during our time in surfers however this hotel was far enough away that we barely even noticed and it is such a short walk into the centre, it was perfect!!

It had all the facilities we needed such as a washing machine, dryer, gym, pool, sauna, communal area with free tea and coffee and cooking facilities.

We loved our stay here so would defo recommend 💯

We tried the viral Chip ‘N’ Mix in Noosa and let me tell you, it did not disappoint!

The concept is the same as YoChi but for chips instead. You can pick from sweet potato fries, normal fries or proper chippy chips!!!! Obvs we went for the chippy chips and being the true brits we are, had to get the chippy curry sauce and cheese toppings but you have sooooo many to pick from.

Ours cost $20 which we thought was a bit steep considering we only got a small portion but once we had the first bite I would say it’s 100% worth it
