It was explorative! It was challenging! It was revealing! It was fun !… as much as it was rewarding.

Congratulations to the specialists and journos who graduated from our Advanced workshop this past weekend.

It was hard work with some
interesting discoveries along the way. It’s always a good idea to explore other styles, mediums and genres… which can only open up more placement opportunities as one moves forward into the industry …. And these four students certainly embraced every challenge, ‘sponged’ all the direction and discovered that warmth & vulnerability are essential ingredients to truly connect with their viewer.

A huge congratulations to the graduates of this weekend’s Advanced Certificate Workshop!

It was an incredibly rewarding experience for everyone involved — myself included. I’m always inspired when I see students break through old habits, step out of their comfort zones, and embrace their authentic presence on camera.

The camaraderie throughout the workshop was truly special, with strong connections and lasting bonds formed that I have no doubt will serve as ongoing support for one another in the industry.

Happy New Year!

As we kick off 2025, it’s clear that the industry is evolving in exciting ways. Every year, we work tirelessly to uncover new leads, forge connections, and find opportunities…but where is the work in today’s landscape?

The answer lies in embracing the shift. Presenters now have incredible opportunities across new platforms like podcasting, social media connections, influencing, business/finance interviews, online health and travel reviews, and children’s educational content. In fact, finding a new role has never been more achievable than it is now!

So, where are the castings? Stay tuned for master mentoring workshops and social media tips designed to help you thrive in this new era.
In the meantime, here’s a reminder as you navigate your career in 2025:

    ~Stay focused and determined.
~Step outside your comfort zone…growth happens there.
    ~Don’t take rejection personally… it builds resilience.

Success stems from perseverance, a strong support network, ongoing learning, and keeping your promotional materials fresh and relevant.
