SIFUNA IN TROUBLE !!

Information reaching me from sources I consider reliable is raising serious questions about what is happening behind the scenes within Linda Mwananchi.
According to the information I have received, there is a growing power struggle over leadership, party control, and the future direction of the movement.
The biggest issue emerging is the battle around Ukombozi People’s Party (UPP), the political vehicle associated with Sifuna.
Sources indicate that Babu Owino wants to take over as party leader of UPP and that during a meeting yesterday, he made it clear that if he does not get the party leadership position, he would consider walking away from the movement.
The information further suggests that James Orengo has also entered the contest for a bigger role. Sources claim that Orengo wants both the party leadership and the presidential ticket of the new movement. It is said that Orengo told Sifuna that they can face each other through nominations, but given his age and political experience, he believes he deserves an opportunity to run for president while Sifuna takes the Secretary General position.
This now raises a major question: If Sifuna is expected to carry the presidential ambitions of this movement, why are other leaders fighting for control of the same political vehicle?
More information reaching me suggests that Sifuna has been under intense pressure as he tries to keep the movement together. While he has remained silent publicly, those close to the situation say he has been facing difficult political moments behind closed doors.
Another issue raising eyebrows is the reported political conversations involving Babu Owino and other political players. There are claims of possible engagements with DCP and Riggy G, including a proposed Nairobi power-sharing formula where Riggy G would control 70% of the government structure while Babu would take 30%.
Information reaching me further claims that Babu is unhappy with Sifuna’s growing influence because Babu has never believed or expected another young leader to rise and challenge his political space.
Before Baba Raila Odinga passed away, Babu had already disagreed with Baba and ODM leadership and at one point walked away from the party after shouting and banging the table before Baba.
After Baba’s death, while the family and Kenyans were mourning, Babu openly celebrated and mobilised people to cheer him and call for him to take over the Luo Nyanza kingpin position on social media . He was already positioning himself for the succession debate with the slogan baada ya Baba ni Babu,something that made original Luo community disown him .
It happened openly in Kasarani and at the Karen home, and even during the burial period, he tried to use some hired goons to call for his name to be given a chance to speak during the burial.
The same questions have also been raised about James Orengo. Before Baba’s death, the two had experienced disagreements, especially around ODM leadership and the direction of the party.
Birds of a feather?
My advice to Sifuna is simple: make this information public and let Kenyans understand what is happening behind the scenes.
To those who want to attack me online, ask yourselves one question first:
1.Why would Babu endorse Riggy G for presidency when he has a candidate Sifuna within the same movement?
2.Why would Babu and Orengo openly support Kalonzo for the presidency while ignoring the person they claim to be building a movement with?
3.Why have they gone quiet, and why is the energy and vibrancy that Linda Mwananchi had started showing signs of slowing down?
These are questions that deserve answers.
Politics is about trust, loyalty, and the interests of the people.
Kenyans are watching.
