Seeing that is on everyone’s tongue, I thought i’d share a flashback to when I was the official photographer for shooting on behalf of and got to shoot snoopdaloop live.

Snoops a master of chill charisma & stage presence and one of a few out of many A-list artists, Ive been blessed to shoot over my photography career - that’s looked straight down the barrel of my lense, I couldn’t beliee it when i saw the photos on the computer.

I'm a big boy and Hoodie sizings are usally way off, but this is an incredibly generous fit!

ANNOUNCEMENT
I’m proud to announce that I’ve been asked to be Gerry Laughton’s bass player on his latest music project

I met Gerry while photographing events and doing portraits with the Aboriginal community here in east Gippsland for various organisations.

I had the pleasure of listening to Gerry’s live Accoustic solo set as the backdrop to much of tnis meaningful photography work I had been honoured to carry out over 2024. I was enamoured with his fresh and original approach to music.

Over this time I had some great chats to Gerry an we swapped details - he calls his style “Australian Soul” and as a bass player whos influence and much of my bass career has been predominantly playing funk, Soul, reggae, latin and neo-soul and Gospel I was super excited and absolutely honoured to get the call and be asked to lay down the bottom end for this legendary, versatile singer song-writer.

We’ve all been working hard at rehearsals and now have a page.

So Please give the Mr Laughton Band page a like and a follow as we work towards our launch onto the East Gippsland music scene.
