CEO IS SO CRINGE!!!! 😬
But then… founder also feels cringe to me because I didn’t find KIMKO. I created it.
Although, the funny thing is… while I’ve been creating KIMKO, this business has also been creating and growing me as a person 🥲
The last 12 months especially, I’ve had to grow professionally from working IN the business to learning how to work ON the business.
When I was a sole trader, I always considered myself a business owner. I never really understood what being a “Director” of a company actually meant.
The more I learn about business, the more I understand the structure behind a company and, terrifyingly… I’m finally starting to understand why people call themselves CEOs 🫢😂
The ULTIMATE cringe word I swore I would never use!!!
(Don’t worry, I still won’t be using it 😂)
I’ll stick with Director = which, when you think about it, literally means helping steer the company in the direction you want it to go.
The only problem?
How the f**k do you direct a company when you’re still learning the ropes yourself? 🙈😂
I guess that’s the joy of it.
You build the business while the business builds you. 🥲
