This Emergency Warning is being issued for Newtown, Ross Creek, Scarsdale, Smythesdale.

- The grassfire at Newtown has spread into the Ross Creek State Forest.
- This bushfire is not yet under control.
- The bushfire is travelling in a northerly direction towards Scarsdale, Smythesdale and Woodland Drive including Skipper Road.
- These areas could be impacted anytime within the next 2 hours..
- This advice message replaces the Emergency Warning message issued at 7.07pm today.

Leaving immediately is the safest option, before conditions become too dangerous.

Emergency services may not be able to help you if you decide to stay.
