📅 WHAT’S ON THURSDAY? 🌟

There’s plenty happening in our local community this Thursday!

👥 Ballina Lighthouse RSL Club – Seniors Day Club
🕙 10am–2pm | Richmond Room | Every Thursday
A welcoming program for seniors and socially isolated men and women, open to both veterans and non-veterans. Attendees must be registered with the Day Club.

The structured program includes:
💪 Light exercises
🧠 Mental stimulation
🎶 Entertainment
☕ Morning tea & lunch

A daily contribution applies.

🍲 Five Loaves Kitchen – Seventh-day Adventist Church
🕔 5pm–6pm | Outside the ADRA Op Shop, corner of Tamar & Kerr Streets
The Five Loaves Kitchen helps provide meals for those in need. Meals are takeaway only. ❤️

🎱 Ballina Hospital Auxiliary Cash Bingo
📍 Alstonville Plateau Sports & Bowling Club

Leonardo (Leo) is a sweet, gentle 4½-year-old Cavoodle looking for a family to call his own. He’d do best in a calm, settled home with children over 12 who can give him the space and reassurance he needs to feel comfortable as he gets to know his new family.

He can be a little unsure when meeting new people, but with patience and reassurance he soon comes out of his shell. Once he trusts you, he’s affectionate, loyal and loves being close to his people.

Leonardo is crate trained, loves to play and gets along really well with other dogs. Busy or unfamiliar environments can take a little time for him to adjust to, so he’ll do best with people who can help him take things at his own pace. In return, you’ll get a loving, playful companion who forms a strong bond with his people.

If you’re looking for a gentle dog who enjoys playtime, the company of other dogs and being close to his family, come and meet Leo.
