Simple food, but honestly so satisfying. 🤍
My favourite combo was missing one thing today… sambar! 😅

If you live outside India, you’ll understand this. ❤️

Festivals just don’t feel the same when you’re away from home. There’s no festive atmosphere the moment you step outside, no decorations everywhere, no feeling that the whole city is celebrating.

So, as parents, we end up creating that feeling ourselves.

This time, I brought Ganpati Bappa home for just 1.5 days — not because I’ve always celebrated Ganpati, but because I wanted my kids to see, experience and feel connected to our festivals and culture.

We decorated the house, made modaks and food, invited our friends over, and when everyone showed up in traditional clothes… suddenly, our little home felt like India. 🥹❤️

Maybe living away from India means we have to create those moments ourselves — but honestly, those moments become some of the most special memories for our kids.

We were supposed to skip dessert… but then there was a pancake claiming to be one of Sydney’s best. 👀🥞

Had to put that claim to the test at BAKE’D, with locations in Bankstown & Punchbowl. 🤍

Would you try it? 👀

Bappa is home ❤️🙏The decorations, the modaks, the laddoos… and then me with a plate full of samosas 😂Ganpati celebration...

Just a normal morning at our home in Sydney — chai, lunch prep, a little backyard time, a quick stop for physiotherapy, and then back home to do my exercises. 🤍

Nothing fancy or perfectly planned… just our everyday morning, as it actually happens.

Just sharing what I actually ate today 🤍
Started with my usual chai, kept breakfast simple, had methi roti with butter for lunch… and then chole puri at my sister’s 😋

Because honestly, some days you just want your favourite food! 😂
No perfect diet, just trying to enjoy my food and keep things balanced.

What’s your favourite comfort-food combination? 👇

09/09/2026

One of those days where I didn’t cook much, but somehow lunch turned out SO good 😂

Keeping it simple, adding a little protein wherever I can, and enjoying the food I actually like. 🤍

What’s your go-to combo when there’s no sabzi at home? 👀

08/09/2026

Father’s Day, family time, a picnic at the park… and somehow I kept eating 😂🤍

From my morning chai to samosa, nachos, crispy corn, cake and chocolate mud cake — definitely a very snacky day! 😅

What would you have reached for first? 👀

Some mornings are not planned, not perfect, and definitely not made for the camera… they just happen. 🤍

A little Father’s Day card, tiny household chores, my little helper, chai, random conversations and a moment of “wait… when did you grow this tall?” 🥹

Just an ordinary Sunday morning in our little Indian family, living in Australia 🇮🇳🇦🇺☕️

And honestly, these ordinary moments are my favourite. 🤍
