Okay, so have I been playing with my new planner set up all day?

Why, yes! Lucky it’s also what I do for my content 😄

Just been adding inserts and accessories in my new A5 traveler’s notebook … seeing how far I can push the chunkiness.

I will be doing a planner flip through of this set up soon as well as how I construct my new The ULTIMATE Planner Bundle printable notebook/booklet.

It’ll be on my YouTube channel. If you’re not already subscribe, make sure you do. Channel link in my bio.

Truthfully? Some weeks I just don’t feel like planning.

The to-do lists feels long or I get tired of linking at boxes and tasks. And forcing it doesn’t help.

Here’s what I do instead:

• step away from my planner - without guilt
• do something calming like knitting, reading or painting by numbers

When I’m ready, I’ll come back and just write what’s feels most important. I try not to pressure myself to fill the page.

Sometimes the best thing I can do for my productivity is to pause.

Do you take a break from your planner too?

We don’t need big goals or perfect weeks to feel like we’re making progress.

Sometimes, it’s the tiny wins - like a glass of water, tidy a corner, or writing one thing down - that helps us feel like us again.

Here are 5 small wins you can track this week. They’re simple, doable and they still count.

SAVE this post to revisit when you need a boost.

Was out on my walk the other day and walked past and was just looking at the display of notebooks and how good it looks.

So it inspired me to dig mine out and start using them again.

The TN passport size I’ve started using to journal positive feelings, while the regular size one is for my video ideas and notes.

Funny how you don’t know how good you have it until you see it displayed/used elsewhere. Is that a life lesson there? 😆

Self-care Check-In!

Let’s take a moment to pause and ask: How did you care for yourself today?

It doesn’t have to be big or fancy. Self-care can be tiny - but powerful.

For me? I put in one of my fave songs and danced. Just a few minutes … but it completely shifted my energy.

If you’re not sure what counts as self-care or need a little inspiration, I’ve got you.

Comment DANCE below and I’ll DM you my free Self-Care Bingo Card printable. It’s full of small, doable ideas that you can add into your planner through your week.

Now it’s your turn: What’s one small thing you did (or could do) today just for you?

Let’s cheer each other on - because even the tiniest act of self-care count!

Pen chat time!

I wanna know … what’s your current go-to pen? You know, the one you teach for every single time.

Drop your answers below 👇🏽 and tell me:

1. Your own of choice (brand + type if you know it!)
2. The ink colour you’re obsessed with
3. Your fave nib size (fine, bold, in-between, 0.5mm, 1.00mm?)

Well, I am trying a newish to me pen which is the Waai FriXion pastel gel pens. I bought the black one yesterday and I use the Cheek Pink and Sand Beige for my brain dumping

Let’s have a little pen party in the comments because stationery talk IS self-care!

Overwhelmed? Too much on your plate and don’t know where to start?

Just choose 1-3 things for today. That’s it.

✔️ One must-do
💛 One recharge moment
🌱 One tiny win (even just starting counts)

It’s a softer way to move forward - especially on hard day.

I even made a little prompt card with a label maker, sticky note flags + a laminated sheet to keep it in sight. If you want to know how to make one for yourself, type the word GENTLE in the comments and I’ll send you the video link.

Habit tracker for June is ready.

I’m keeping most of my habits the same, some I’ve moved around, but added “Pomodoro Focus Time” in there.

So that’s when I’ll do 2 hours of focus work and use the Pomodoro technique

4x 25 minutes work time with 5 minutes break in between and then after the 2 hours have a bit of a longer break.

That’s a good starting point as I know I get bored or distracted after 2 hours of focus time.

If you want a copy of this habit, mood and sleep tracker printable, tap the screen to shop the PDF.

This is the A5 size but also available in HP Classic and Letter size.

How these SQUARES are great reminders how simple self-care can be.

Some days, I don’t have time for bubble baths or a mani. But it doesn’t mean I have to miss out of self-care.

Today’s self-care? I took myself to a cafe. Just me , my coffee, and my planner alone for 20 minutes.

No big plan - just a nice cuppa, a pen and a little peace.

It was a nice calm day, and was “just enough”.

I marked it off my self-care bingo card. I have a few more to mark off by the end of the month and start out a new Self-Care Bingo Card for June!

How often do you switch planner sizes or systems?

Are you the kind of planner who sticks to one system for years … or are you like me who like to switch things up every few months?

I just talked all about this in my recent YouTube livestream so if you want to see me move from personal size back to A5, catch the replay on my YouTube channel - video link in my bio.
