Inihain namin ni Sen. Risa Hontiveros ang Joint Senate Resolution No. 2 para bawiin ang kapangyarihang ibinigay sa Pangulo na magbaba ng taripa sa imported na bigas.

Mula 35%, ibinaba sa 15% ang taripa—kaya't bumaha ng imported rice at halos hindi na makabenta ang ating mga magsasaka.

Ngayong taon, P16.9 na lang ang farmgate price ng palay—malayo sa P24.9 kada kilo noong isang taon. Mas mataas pa ang gastos sa produksyon kaysa sa bentahan. Luging-lugi na ang mga magpapalay.

Hindi natin papayagan na unti-unting patayin ang kabuhayan ng ating mga magsasaka. Bawiin ang kapangyarihang nagpapahirap sa kanila.

- 250g Pork Belly, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 250g Okra, trimmed and sliced
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 2-3 Red Chili Peppers, thinly sliced (adjust to your spice preference)
- 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
- 1 tablespoon Oyster Sauce
- 1 tablespoon Cooking Oil
- 1 teaspoon Sugar
- Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Pork Belly: Marinate the pork belly pieces in soy sauce for at least 15 minutes. This helps tenderize the meat and infuse it with flavor.
2. Stir-fry the Pork: Heat the cooking oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated pork belly and stir-fry until golden brown and slightly crispy on all sides. Remove the pork from the wok and set aside.
3. Sauté Aromatics: Add the minced garlic and chili peppers to the wok and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
4. Stir-fry Okra: Add the sliced okra to the wok and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until it's tender-crisp. Okra cooks quickly, so don't overcook it.
5. Combine and Simmer: Return the pork belly to the wok. Add oyster sauce and sugar. Stir well to combine all ingredients. Simmer for another 2-3 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
6. Season and Serve: Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot with steamed rice.

Tips and Variations:

- For a spicier dish, add more chili peppers or a dash of chili garlic sauce.
- You can add other vegetables, such as bell peppers or onions, to the stir-fry.

Even in private subdivisions where some people have so many cars that they park along the streets even taking side walks are a big problem moreso in public roads. It makes it dangerous for pedestrians and other passing vehicles.

I support this initiative. Better yet if they park their vehicle along the streets and it gets hit then that's their fault 😅

Walong taon na ang Libreng Kolehiyo, at milyon-milyon na ang nakapagtapos sa SUCs, LUCs, at tech-voc schools nang walang binayarang tuition o miscellaneous fees.

Ipinaglaban natin ito dahil naniniwala tayo na ang edukasyon ay karapatan, hindi pribilehiyo.

Malaking bahagi ng tagumpay ng batas sa Libreng Kolehiyo ay dahil sa pagtutulungan ng iba’t ibang sektor—mga estudyante, g**o, magulang, institusyon ng gobyerno, at iba pa.

Lubos din tayong nagpapasalamat sa mga kasamahan natin noon sa Senado at Kamara na nagsikap para maisabatas ito. At siyempre, sa Pangulo na pinirmahan ang batas.

Pero hindi pa tapos ang laban. Hangga’t may kabataang nangangarap, ipagpapatuloy natin ang laban para sa dekalidad at abot-kayang edukasyon para sa lahat. ❤️🔥🇵🇭
