Stefano Utoikamanu has defended his Origin II performance and says he’s ready to stick to his strengths after retaining his Blues spot for Game III.

The Melbourne prop missed his flight to Sydney for Origin camp on Monday morning but the Blues have since made alternative travel plans that will ensure he is at their Blue Mountains camp this week.

"I'm going to stick to my strengths - I know I'm a strong ball carrier, and in defence just make my tackles - making sure I win my tackles is probably the main thing, and that's what I'm looking to do," Utoikamanu told AAP
