Few luxury houses have shaped the visual language of glamour quite like Cartier.

Opening June 12, the National Gallery of Victoria hosts an Australian-exclusive blockbuster bringing together more than 300 archival masterworks, tiaras, and legendary jewels once owned by the likes of Elizabeth Taylor, Wallis Simpson, and Princess Margaret.

Designed in collaboration with Studio Sabine Marcelis, the immersive exhibition is less of a static retrospective and more of a fully realized, theatrical universe.

Powered by nothing more than a single degree of temperature fluctuation, the Jaeger-LeCoultre Atmos remains one of horology’s most poetic achievements. This new collaboration with acclaimed Australian designer Marc Newson positions the 98-year-old icon as a living piece of art rather than a relic of the past.

The Autumn issue is out now.

Travel has always been the ultimate luxury. Increasingly, it has also become a more considered one.

This season’s edition explores what it means to travel, dress, dine and collect with greater intention. Our annual Car of the Year returns to Australia’s open roads, alongside journeys to the cliff-top glamour of the Maybourne Riviera above Monaco, the untouched waters of Raja Ampat, and the remote peaks of Colorado’s San Juan Mountains.

Also inside:

• Loro Piana’s long-awaited Australian arrival
• Francis Mallmann on fire, flavour and theatre
• Urban Jürgensen’s 235-year watchmaking legacy
• Giorgio Armani’s first superyacht project
• Australia’s new generation of destination wineries
• High jewellery reimagined by Ravi Kheni

Plus, our autumn fashion portfolio, photographed in Gstaad, embraces texture, craftsmanship and understated luxury designed for wherever the season leads.

Consider this issue a guide not simply to going further, but to choosing better.
