Anywhere in Tokyo to the CUTEST place on Earth: Sanrio Puroland! Here’s how WE got there traveling as a family of 5 (3 adults and 2 kids). 💖🎀

Traveling around Tokyo with kids doesn’t have to be a maze!

As a family of adventurers (and yes, Hello Kitty superfans 🎀), we found the sweetest way to get to Sanrio Puroland, and we’re breaking it down for YOU—BarBelle family style 😉💁‍♀️

Here’s the exact route we took, step-by-step:

➡️ Hop on any Tokyo train line that connects to the Keio Line or Odakyu Line.

➡️ Your destination is Tama-Center Station 🚉

➡️ Once you arrive, take the EAST EXIT (this part is KEY!)

➡️ Walk straight out of the exit and go up the stairs directly ahead

➡️ From there, it’s a short and stroller-friendly 5-minute walk

➡️ Keep going straight, and soon you’ll spot the iconic Sanrio Puroland on your LEFT — you can’t miss it from about 100 meters away! 🎡🎀

✨ We Found a Hidden Gem for Our Family Getaway in Bacolod ✨

We were just looking for a quiet weekend escape—nothing fancy, just somewhere we could all breathe, away from the mess, the meetings, the laundry piles. You know the drill. And then we stumbled on something that felt… like it was waiting for us.

Tucked behind the buzz of Bacolod’s city life, we found a hotel that felt just right. Spacious enough for all the chaos of a family with kids, cozy enough for slow mornings with coffee, and surprisingly modern—clean lines, soft sheets, and staff who treated our family like long-lost cousins coming home.

It was that sweet balance of city charm meets homey comfort. The kind of place that lets you dream again—together. 💛

Time for a fresh morning dip at the pool.

Before we go through another busy day here in Bacolod City, Philippines spending time with family, relatives and friends, we made sure the kids have time to enjoy one of the travel activities they love the most — swimming!

Thank you for always giving us that friendly-family service whenever we visit Bacolod. Makes us feel at home, even when we’re thousands of miles away from our home in Australia.

After a long journey from Sydney, we’ve finally arrived in Manila 🇵🇭.

Our hearts are full… a little tired, a little heavy, but grateful. ✨

Thank you, , for getting us here with care and comfort. Big thanks to Ate Boots and Keith from PAL Sydney for making sure we made it to our flight on time and that we got everything we need for our family trip with our two kids. This is the reason we fly with Philippine Airlines Philippine Airlines — there’s always that genuine Filipino care and hospitality you will never find anywhere else.

First stop: Ninoy Aquino International Airport —
a place that always feels like coming home.

Now we prepare for the next leg of our trip to Bacolod, Negros Occidental (Daddy Barry’s hometown) where we’ll say our final goodbye to our beloved Nanay Lola Diosa. 💐🕊️

This journey is for her.
We carry her love with us — always and forever. 🤍
