"What Happens When You Put the Right Advisors Around the Same Table?"

This is exactly what my Fractional C-Suite Advisory Gathering is about.

In our previous session, we had a Business Hot Seat with Abby, who had many ideas and opportunities she wanted to pursue.

Rather than trying to tackle everything at once, we focused on one priority.

I invited the advisors around the table to share their perspectives, ideas, and directional inspiration on what could help Abby scale into her next phase.

We also explored her vision for launching a community and looked at questions around social media, engagement, building trust, and creating relationships that encourage people to become part of that community.

This is the kind of conversation I want to create more of.

Different perspectives.
Different expertise.
One real business challenge.

No long presentations.
No sitting quietly in the background.

Just advisors coming together, asking questions, sharing ideas, and creating value through collective intelligence.

If you’re a Fractional C-Suite advisor and believe that collaboration can create better outcomes, I’d love to have you join us.

Nancy loved what she did. Her fitness classes were about more than exercise. They were about fun, friendship, and helping older adults feel good about themselves.

Then the pandemic changed everything.

Her classes went from full to empty almost overnight. Nancy had to find another way to stay connected with her clients, so she learned how to use Zoom.

It worked. Her clients started coming back.

But there was a new problem. Running her growing business meant dealing with technology, emails, social media, and website updates. None of these were things she was particularly good at or enjoyed doing.

So Nancy decided to ask for help.

By delegating those tasks to The Operations Genius, she got precious hours back in her day. She could spend more time with her clients and more time doing what she loved.

And most importantly, she got her freedom back.

Sometimes, the best thing you can do for your business is make more room for yourself.

"What If Your Business Was a Playground for Your Growth?"

I look at my business as a playground.

What I learn in the spiritual realm gives me something to practice in the physical world. To explore. To experiment. To co-create.

And that changes how I see the people I meet.

Whether it’s a team member, client, or business partner, I try to see them as a soul. Someone moving through their own chapter, carrying their own challenges, lessons, and experiences.

So when I’m having a conversation with someone, I pay attention.

Sometimes I’ll notice something, feel something, or receive an idea that feels relevant to what they’re going through. If I can share something that might help, I do.

We have something similar in our monthly team meetings called “Jo's Time.”

The team knows it’s on the agenda, but they never know what’s going to happen.

Neither do I.

I simply arrive at that moment and see what comes through.

It’s the same with clients. We have the planned agenda and the work we need to discuss, but there’s often one little thing I observe that day that gives me an idea, a message, or a different perspective to share.

For me, leadership isn’t always about having the perfect answer prepared in advance.

Sometimes, it’s about being present enough to notice what’s needed in the moment.

That’s where the real co-creation happens.

"From Doing to Being"

For a long time, Joanna Zhang believed she had to keep doing more to prove her value.

Even after receiving her first award, she still struggled with imposter syndrome and sought external validation.

Her journey changed when she began looking inward and reconnecting with what she believes is her divine purpose.

She realized she didn't need to prove her worth through achievements. She could create from a place of self-awareness, trust, and connection.

It’s not about doing nothing. It’s about doing from a different state.

In this episode, Joanna shares how moving from a state of doing to being transformed the way she leads, creates, and shows up in the world.

What if your biggest business challenge could be explored by the right advisors around one table?

That’s the vision behind my Fractional C-Suite Advisory Gathering.

In our previous session, I demonstrated how the model works in practice. I start by understanding a business owner’s challenge deeply, then structure the advisory board around what they actually need.

We also held a Business Hot Seat, where Abby shared a real challenge around her upcoming community launch. I invited the advisors to share their perspectives, and together we explored how we could collaborate to support her.

This is what I love about the model: different expertise, different perspectives, one shared goal.

If you’re a Fractional C-Suite advisor and would like to experience this model, connect with other advisors, and explore how we can create win-win-win outcomes together, I’d love to have you join us.

AI is changing how we work, and I see enormous potential in that.

We can automate repetitive tasks. Process information faster. Streamline operations. Create more efficient systems.

But there are things technology can't replace.

Trust. Empathy. Judgment. Creativity. Connection.

That's why I don't see AI and human support as competing forces. I see them as partners.

Through the Fractional VA Service model, my goal has always been to help business owners access the right support at the right time while using technology to make that support even more effective.

The future of business isn't about replacing people with technology.

It's about giving people better tools, better support, and more space to do the work that matters.

I explored this idea further in my recent conversation on the AI Bridges Podcast with Mark Pearson.

AI can automate tasks, process information, and help businesses move faster. But it can't replace trust, empathy, judgment, or genuine human connection.

That's why Joanna Zhang believes the future of business isn't people vs. technology... it's about bringing the two together.

In her recent conversation on the AI Bridges Podcast, Joanna explored how technology and human support can work hand in hand to create more flexible, scalable, and sustainable businesses.

Her Fractional VA Service model reflects this philosophy: use technology where it creates efficiency, and bring in the right people where human expertise creates the greatest value.

The result? Less operational pressure, more flexibility, and more space for leaders to focus on strategy, relationships, and growth.

"Stop Waiting for Perfect. Start With One Step."

I’ve seen business owners fall into two extremes when building their systems.

They either spend too much time making their SOPs perfect, only to discover they need to change them once they start using them.

Or they have plenty of ideas but never turn them into action.

I’ve learned that there’s a better way.

Start somewhere. Take one step. Learn from what happens, then improve as you go.

The same applies to delegation.

When I bring in a VA or specialist, it’s because I trust their expertise. I give them room to try, be creative, and find what works. Then we look at the results, learn from the data, and adjust.

It doesn’t have to be perfect from day one.

Progress creates momentum.

"Your Business Should Give You Freedom, Not Keep You Busy."

A business shouldn't depend on the owner holding everything together.

Joanna Zhang believes the right systems should create flow, clarity, and freedom, not more work.

By putting clear processes in place, defining responsibilities, and helping teams work together, business owners can finally step out of the day-to-day and return to what they do best: their genius zone.

For Joanna, that's the real goal of operations. Not simply making a business run better, but creating the space for its owner to focus on their vision, purpose, and impact.
