UPDATE 10:30 AM

Emergency services are responding to a two-car crash near Mystery Bay.

The crash occured at around 8:30 AM at Corunna on the Princes Highway just past Mystery Bay Road.

Paramedics have assessed three people, with two taken to Moruya District Hospital for treatment.

Traffic is heavy in the area, with alternating (stop/slow) traffic conditions in place.

Motorists are told to expect delays.

The search for missing fisherman Geoff Buchanan off the New South Wales coast has been suspended after his empty boat was recovered by authorities.

A multi-agency search for Mr Buchanan started on Saturday evening after the Sussex Inlet man failed to return to the Batemans Bay marina.

A multi-agency search for a missing fisherman has been expanded to include about half of the New South Wales coastline.

Marine Rescue vessels have been deployed between Port Stephens and the Victorian border to search for the man, who departed from Batemans Bay Marina at about 6am on Saturday.

The search are for the 56-year-old, who went missing after leaving Batemans Bay on Saturday, has been expanded following unconfirmed sightings of his vessel.

❗ FATAL CRASH ON MOUNT DARRAGH ❗

UPDATE: 3:53 PM

A man has died following a crash at Mount Darragh near Wyndham.

Emergency services were called to Mount Darragh Road near Loves Trail at about 10:30 AM to reports of a single-vehicle crash.

NSW Police said a car had left the road, gone down an embankment and struck a tree.

The front seat passenger, a man aged in his 20s, couldn't be revived and died at the scene.

Another man in his 20s, believed to be the driver, was treated at South East Regional Hospital for suspected internal injuries before being flown to Canberra hospital in a stable condition.

An investigation is underway and a report will be prepared for the coronor.

The road is closed in both directions, with traffic diversions via the Snowy Mountains Highway and Imlay Road in place.
