On this day four years ago we opened the doors to the public. . Babitha came in and recorded one of our favourite Australian records, ‘a brighter side of blue’. With wild ideas on the horizon, we look back at that record as a defining sound what we love to do in the studio. Here’s to many more, and to many more songs & ideas that are in the air ✨

Illawarra songwriter came into the studio, he got the producers in to moonlight as a drummer and bass player, a 4 track ep over the last 3 days. ‘Peddlin steel Tim’ got some lines in, while Tom filled in the rest with guitar and the organ

This is the exact moment Bowen saw our Auditronics recording desk. Originally going for 90k USD in 1984, 37 years later we picked it for a mere pittance after it had sat broken in a shipping container for 15 years and then we spent 12 months fixing it up. All we had to do was drive to Queensland in the middle of lockdown pretending we were a shipping company with a Uhaul in tow and two friends (Charles, Giacomo) to pick it up. Just finished off recording and mixing 7 local young artists that had wrote amazing songs! Jam n Bread - thanks Creative Wollongong

That's a wrap! Our New Gen Global Project in partnership with Our Community Project's Jam and Bread saw the final mixes of 7 young people's original songs.

Young musicians, Shalani Thomas, Grace Mae, Ava Dupont, Matilda Dickson, Ryan Pring, Josh Hinton and Dom Hinton were mentored by local musicians Sako Dermenjian, George Stanton and Ann Lehmann. The young song writers were encouraged to create original music influenced by multicultural sounds and were joined in the studio by session artists:

Violin: Vesma Putnins
Cello: Kaija Upenieks
Guitar: Sako Dermenjian
Guitar: Ann Lehmann-Kuit

Huge thanks to Cody and the team Stranded Recording Studios and Shannon Kennedy for helping us get the project over the line.

Yes new Caitlin Harnett & The Pony Boys recorded live at Stranded Recording Studios!

Well, its been a long couple of years between releases and we've nearly killed each other along the way but we didn't and it's finally here!!!

Even Cowgirls Cry.

This songs for all the single lovers out there. There ain't nothing wrong with riding solo and romancing yourself cos at the end of the day nobody knows you better.

Big thanks to my Pony Boys for sticking with me. I love you like brothers.

Hope ya'll enjoy what we've made. Recorded live at Stranded Recording Studios in April 2022. (I know. This s**t takes time.) Produced and mixed by our dear bud Joseph Ireland. Released via S***k Records.
