Jordon, Sam, their children, witnesses, and I had the BEST weekend. 🩷

Jordon and Sam planned a dreamy elopement on the beach that was perfectly them in every way. I never wanted it to end!

With a resounding ‘YES’ from their children when I asked permission to marry their Mum and Dad, there was only one thing left to do… get these two married!

As a new Mum, I loved the way Jordon and Sam included their children in every part of their ceremony. If this is something you’re considering for your ceremony don’t be afraid to ask how we can do it! I’m a huge fan of child involvement.

The kind of love you read about in romance novels and see in the movies. The kind that fills your cup up just by being around them and makes you believe in fairytales.

These two got married in the most beautiful backyard I have ever seen in my life!! Their families sure know how to put on a backyard wedding.

I couldn’t get enough of these two and their families! When you renew your vows when you’re old and grey please call me again so we can relive the best day ever!

Happy New Year Everyone!
I completely fell off the face of the earth towards the end of 2024 but I promise I have good reason. Meet my girl Summer who joined us in August 2024 and is now my favourite thing to ever exist!

I’m behind on posting photos of the beautiful couples that got married at the end of 2024 but there will be some content coming your way soon, showing off their dreamy days.

2025 bookings are filling up fast with the start of the year nearly fully booked! Im looking forward to getting back into wedding season as of Feb after a little break with my new little fam.

A double wedding at a gorgeous little spot at the Huntly Streamside Reserve!! It honestly doesn’t get much better than this!

Chloe and Mark were up first!
This is a day that I don’t think 13 year old Chloe and Crystal ever seen coming. Never in our wildest dreams would we have imagined I would be standing beside Chloe as her ‘celebrant’ on her wedding day!
It’s hard to put in to words how special this is to me.

Next up was Marks sister Hayley and her now husband, Matt!
Steady, calm, and completely present in the moment. These two are solid!
Their 3 daughters greeted me with warm hellos and hugs goodbye and honestly I couldn’t be more pleased to feel like I’ve been accepted into a fierce girls club.

Double the fun, double the love, my cup is extra full after this day. 🩷

Or as I know them… Coff and Pris!

I’ve spent half my life growing up with Coff. Marrying him to his girl yesterday was a balance between laughing, happy tears, and immense discipline from me to call Coff ‘Michael’ for the entire ceremony. Success, on my part!

Under the huge trees on the lawn at was the perfect location to capture this love story. I would encourage all future couples to check out this ceremony location, it’s to die for!

Also known as my sister in law and now official brother in law!! Marrying these two was so special. It’s the classic tale of Mr Tall meeting Miss Small and then living happily ever after.

My husband and I paired up to be the dream team on this day with me handling the ceremony and then passing the mic over to him to MC the reception.

Hi Everyone!
It’s been 12 months since I ‘officially’ launched Weddings with Crystal, WOW!

I had hoped to have 10 weddings booked by the end of 2023 and to have approx 100 people on this journey with me through socials but I surpassed both of those goals which has worked out perfectly for the competitive streak in me 😆 Thank you so very much to everyone! What a ride so far.

There are ALOT more of you here than when I first introduced myself. I hear so much about each of you when I meet with you that I thought it was time for me to share a little more about myself.

Is Weddings with Crystal my 9-5?
No, it’s not. I’m a teacher Monday to Friday working in Early Childhood. Yes I answer every banana phone handed to me and yes every story read is the performance of my life. I am also very lucky that a part of my job is being a part of the Shine On Podcast team, hosting episodes all about Early Childhood.

Favourite Hobby?
Dancing! I’ve been teaching dance for 15 years and get to dance on stage twice a year. My husband has accepted that glitter becomes a part of me, our shower, and bed during concert time.

When do I rest and what do I do?
Down time is important to me so I TRY to make sure I make time for this each week. How do I do it? I read. Rom Coms and Fantasy are my go to because as you already know, I’m a sucker for a good love story.

So when I’m not meeting with you and listening to you tell me your story, or planning your ceremony, I’m either at my 9-5, dancing, or reading. So hang in there if you haven’t heard back from me, I promise I am getting there.

Happy 2024 to each and every one of you! I can’t wait to see what this year brings. 🩷
