👋🏼 It’s me, I’m back, well sort of … September has been an absolute write off for me, thanks to illness.

I’m extremely lucky that I’ve been able to look after my clients from the couch, & I’m sorry to everybody else that I just have just not had the capacity or voice for that matter to respond to.

Thank you for your patience, I am going to ask for a little bit more as I make a slow return whilst still recovering. If you’ve reached out & I haven’t responded please by all means email or DM again so that I can come back to you over the next week. I still need to rest my vocal cords as much as possible, but slowly my voice is returning finally! No karaoke for me 🎤🤭 jokes you’ll never catch me doing karaoke in the first place 😳!

I thought it might be fun to share five things about me to kick off the month of October…

🧡 October is my birthday month & there will be cake and cocktails 🧁 🍸

💛 My hair has changed colour again, a few of you guessed correctly, I went pink this time … stay tuned for a pic

💙 Today is world Coffee day, & if you’ve been following for awhile you know I only drink cold coffee, give me an iced latte or an espresso martini thanks!

❤️ On this day 31 years ago, my life changed significantly, when my parents moved us as Swan Hill to run their first motel. Fun fact I hated them for it, little did I know I’d end up following in their footsteps until three years ago when we sold up which led me to social media and KISS MY BRAND!

🩵 I once made an absolute fool out of myself fan-girling over Adam Gilchrist (ex-Australian wicket keeper) not once but twice. First hyperventilating over the phone when I asked did I spell his surname like the cricketer only to find out he was the cricketer, & then to revisit that story when I checked him in, after shoving my receptionist out of the way so I could check him in at the hotel I worked at. Not my most professional moment, but also a highlight as I was cricket mad at the time.

Your turn, what’s something I don’t know about you and all your most embarrassing unprofessional moment … we’ve all got them.

It’s nice to be back, I’ll be at pacing myself a day at a time. Slow & steady wins the race. 🐢

Massive shout out to these two legends, the half of our Collab and Connect crew who turned up today when I couldn’t.

Struck down with a chest infection and laryngitis, I wasn’t able to attend our final Collab and Connect event today. In fact two of us were unwell and missed out today, but such is life, and the show must go on.

So it was Beth and Issy to the rescue, and by all reports they’ve smashed it out of the park today, done themselves, Leah and I and all of our attendees proud.

Thanks legends, thanks for being you, thanks for stepping up, thanks for delivering, and thanks for the support!

👋🏼 Hi, “Don’t do what I did, do what I meant to do.”

If you’ve been around these parts for a while or hung out talking all things social media with me, you will have heard me say consistency is key!

I’ll also follow up with, that, that looks different for everyone and it’s important to find what that means for you and what is manageable.

So as I finally turn up on my only socials after an unintentional 3 week grid hiatus, I thought a timely reminder of YOU DO YOU style advice and do as I say, but not so much what I do! Hahaha. At least not lately.

Where have I been? Well, BUSY!! In the best possible way … with cup filling work!!! But more in that in another post … I’ve got so much to tell you all … and show you!!!

Workshops were not on my bingo card when I started my business a little over two years ago. But as I type that I don’t know why. I’m an extremely patient person when I comes to teaching others. And I love to help and teach. So really, I shouldn’t surprised that these opportunities presented or that I’m in my element hosting.

We only just finished and set the free and already their jumping into stories, onto reels and working their magic with the photography tips they learned today.
