Over the past few weeks, Grok Magazine and the Student Guild President covered the ongoing issue of Curtin University walking away from NTEU (National Tertiary Education Union) negotiations, resulting in many Curtin staff taking industrial action against the University in hopes for better pay and working conditions. 📚✍️ We also received a submission from Marrissa Evans, who’s gone out of their way to expose the governements plan to review the universities in WA (which may include include a super university merge). 🎓📖

‼️ BIG ANNOUNCEMENT ‼️

We’re excited to announce that we’ll be releasing the digital version of Grok 2021 to celebrate the new year! ☺️✨ This issue will be available to read online from January 1st 2023, and will be uploaded to Issu alongside our previous Grok publications.

We would like to thank everyone who contributed to this edition, as well as those who took the time to polish it for online publication. 🥰💫 This wouldn’t have been possible without the help of Ayo Busari (2021 Editor-in-Chief), Nina Dakin (2021 Head of Design), as well as the Curtin Student Guild for giving us permission to release this issue. We really appreciate all of your support!
