Blackbutt Avocado Festival

Blackbutt Avocado Festival πŸ₯‘ A wonderful celebration of all things Avocado. Second saturday in September every year! πŸŽ‰ πŸ₯³

The best weekends to be in regional Queensland are those at the beginning of spring, especially when you find a charming town like Blackbutt. The sun rising and falling paints the sky with luminous colours; and still in mornings' first exhale, Winter has just enough chill to make your morning coffee be all the better to hug the mug. It’s worth the scenic drive a few times over, and, if you have th

e time, honour it with a long stay at the Blackbutt Showgrounds. Be welcomed up the Blackbutt range, just past a large Avocado Orchard by the fresh air and sounds of the bellbirds and the town in festive mode for AvoFest on the second Saturday in September.

πŸ₯‘πŸŒ³ MEET OUR MATURE TREE MAJOR SPONSORS! 🌳πŸ₯‘
The 2025 Blackbutt Avocado Festival is ripening up to be one of our best yet β€” and it’s thanks to the incredible support of our Mature Tree Major Sponsors.

These generous businesses each contribute $5,000, helping us keep the festival FREE for all β€” that means free entry, free entertainment, and free activities the whole community can enjoy. πŸ’šπŸŽ‰

Here’s who’s backing the avo-goodness this year:

🌿 Cherry Creek Estate
Local avocado growers and producers of their own premium Avocado Oil (available to purchase at the festival!). Cherry Creek are long-time supporters and passionate about sharing the fruits of our region.

πŸš— Ken Mills Toyota Kingaroy
A proud festival partner since the very beginning! Ken Mills Toyota have stood behind the event every year and continue to drive our success forward in 2025.

🌱 Boobir Creek Holdings – Jeff Connor
The original driving force behind the Avocado Festival β€” Jeff served as our founding President and still gets involved each year. He’ll be helping MC the 2025 event!

πŸš› Morgan Hauser Haulage
Strong supporters of regional Queensland and committed to helping events like ours thrive. Their backing helps carry the load β€” literally and figuratively.

We’re so grateful to have these amazing sponsors backing us. Their support keeps the Blackbutt Avocado Festival fun, accessible and full of community flavour.

As we embark on preparations for AvoFest 2024, we take a moment to express our gratitude to one of our Mature Tree Sponsors for their outstanding support in 2024. We thank Morgan Hauser Haulage on behalf of AvoFest and the Blackbutt community. Your contributions have made a significant difference, and we sincerely appreciate your continued partnership and support.

Hauser Haulage Pty Ltd, originally established as Morgan Hauser Haulage in 2013, is a proud family-owned business rooted in the heart of Gatton. Growing up in the transport industry with a father who was a truck driver, the founder of Hauser Haulage was inspired to take the next step and run their own fleet of trucks. Through hard work, dedication, and countless sacrifices, the business has evolved and now operates three trucks and a dozen trailers, serving clients across southeast Queensland and extending nationwide, including routes to North Queensland, Alice Springs, Perth, Adelaide, and Melbourne.

Specialising in local and long-haul transport, Hauser Haulage handles everything from Single Trailers to B-Doubles and Road Trains, using Flat Tops or Tautliners. The company lives by two key principles: a passion for the industry and an unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction. Their focus on providing exceptional service at competitive rates has earned them a reputation for reliability and excellence.

As a successful business, Hauser Haulage believes in giving back to the community, and their support for events like the Avocado Festival Woodchop reflects this commitment. They are excited to be part of such a fantastic event and look forward to contributing to its success.
