🎓 Choosing the right school for your child is an important decision for every family.

From those first exciting days of Prep right through to the senior years, finding a school where your child feels known, supported and encouraged to grow can make all the difference.

Mountain View Adventist College welcomes students from Prep to Year 12, providing continuity throughout their education while supporting each child’s individual learning journey.

With a focus on building strong foundations, confidence and independence in the early years, through to helping senior students prepare for further study, training, careers and life beyond school, the College aims to develop confident young people ready for what comes next. 🌱📚

Families considering their schooling options are invited to visit the campus, meet the team and explore the College community for themselves.

📚 Enrolments are now open from Prep to Year 12.

I’m grateful to my fellow Councillors for their support for my re-election as Mayor of Blacktown City.

Congratulations to Cr Bob Fitzgerald OAM, who was elected Deputy Mayor. I look forward to working closely with Bob, all Councillors, Council staff and our community.

It is a privilege to continue representing the city I have called home all my life. There is plenty of work ahead, and we are ready to get on with it.

✈️🌏 Planning to live overseas while receiving the Age Pension?

Moving overseas doesn’t necessarily mean your Age Pension will stop, but the amount you receive — and some additional payments — may change depending on your individual circumstances.

According to Age Pension Help, factors such as how long you’ve lived in Australia during your working life, how long you’ll be overseas and the country you’re moving to can all affect your payments.

Some changes can begin as soon as you leave Australia, while others may apply after 26 weeks overseas. It’s important to let Centrelink know about your plans, particularly if you intend to be away for more than six weeks.
Navigating Age Pension rules can be confusing, especially when an overseas move is involved.

Age Pension Help offers personalised assistance with the application process, paperwork and understanding your entitlements.

If an overseas move is part of your retirement plans, make sure you understand how it could affect your pension before you pack your bags! 🌏🏡
