🚨 ALERT: 24 HOURS KID-FREE 🚨

How would you spend it??????
Oh and don't be shy!

For me....
No snacks cut into triangles. No one yelling “MUMMMMM!” from the toilet. Just me… and a wild, uninterrupted 24 hours of questionable decisions and carbs. 🙌

Plan includes (in no particular order):
☕ Coffee that’s actually hot
🛏️ Lying horizontally for more than 3 minutes
🧼 A shower without an audience or commentary
🎧 Listening to music with swearing
🍕 Eating adult food with both hands
📺 Watching Netflix WITHOUT closed captions or a cartoon rodent
🍷 A cheeky glass of wine (or three)
💤 Potentially falling asleep mid-rebellion at 8:45pm... and that’s OK.

What food takes you straight back to your childhood?

For me, it’s my mum’s world-famous Chicken Parmi with creamy fettuccini. Seriously, this dish could bring world peace. 🍗🍝

We were only allowed it on "special occasions" (aka when Mum felt like washing 17 pans and grating 3 blocks of cheese)... so naturally, all four of us kids strategically requested it on our birthdays. Every. Single. Year.

Mum caught on. The “special occasion” rule got revoked when we all moved out. Coincidence? I think not. 😅🎂

Who's joining the Mayor of Blacktown City and Morning Mix With Fyfie on SWR999FM at the serene bushlands of Nurragingy Reserve on Sunday 17 August for the Blacktown Mayoral Fun Run?

Starting at Boronia Reserve, the fun run will have you winding your way through the stunning natural landscapes, the Aboriginal heritage garden and the Chang Lai Yuan Chinese gardens.

There will be a 5 km at 7.15 am and a 2.5 km at 8.00 am with prizes for best dressed and finisher medals for each race participant!

This week, Morning Mix With Fyfie on SWR999FM chatted with Mayor of Blacktown City about this Saturday's Maori Wardens Australia Matariki Festival, to be held at Boronia Park (Nurragingy Reserve) this Saturday.

Our very own Johnson from Reggae Got Soul (Monday 6pm - 8pm) will also be there, spinning his unique mix of reggae, dub and dancehall as part of the event.
