Lightest power station in its class! - Jackery 1500 Ultra

I’ve been wanting to try a power station for a while. I’ve built a few 12v setups in my own Campervans and the thought of having your whole electrical system in one box would save a lot of confusion and headache.

The fact you can just buy this online and you’re good to go is so easy! The 1500 Ultra is equivalent to 128ah lithium battery so this is a perfect setup for weekends away and shorter trips. Pair it with a solar blanket or dcdc charger and you could run this fully off grid.

The technology has been improving in these systems over the years and now it’s even lighter and smaller. 17.5kg and crazy weight for the size and capacity.

A mother protects her calf 🐋

Unbelievable whale watching trip on Sunday. We followed a mother and calf the whole trip. Multiple breaches, fin slapping, tails diving and head slaps. We were privileged to see so many different behaviours.

The highlight, a mother flying out of the water protecting herself and her calf from a male coming at speed towards them. I’ve never seen a breach this big and to witness it so close was epic! What an amazing trip!

Hiking to the highest point in Australia 🏔️

Completed the main range summit walk to Mount Kosciuszko.
23km 6.5hours 1195m elevation gain

The day started out very foggy with poor visibility. A cold river crossing within the first 10 minutes, cold feet and snow covering the path in multiple sections made quite the adventure. It cleared up as the day went on revealing spectacular views of the surrounding national park.

Hike abit clockwise for a nice easy stroll back to the car 🚗
