Another beautiful weekend morning to be out and about eyeing all things fabulous in the Southern Highlands even if the days seem to be dragging on now. Disappointing for us all not being able to open up again today, but our turn will come and hopefully that will be the last of lockdowns. Have a sun-shiny weekend! 🌳

Another village, another weekend walk and what a super sunny day for being out and about on Father’s Day…..although a little chilly in the wind so rug up! Spring flowers are all starting to make their stunning appearance around the Highlands, such a pretty sight. Enjoy your day! 🌳

Thinking of when we can move around freely again, even to just enjoy the simple things in life we take for granted…. In the mean time, one of our favourite things to do here at Escape is to get up early on the weekend mornings and head out to a different town or village in the Southern Highlands for a morning walk. So much to discover and see doing this that you may normally miss when driving through. Gates and front entrances are a favourite and we have captured a few to share. Happy walking! 🌳

The Plane trees in Leighton Gardens, Moss Vale, have come alive with the help of some very creative and vibrant crocheted wraps. Known as Yarn bombing, our very talented women from the Moss Vale Evening CWA and members of the wider community have spent many hours producing these for the installation. What a treat they are visually! 🌳
